Abstract EN

The study aimed at identifying the availability of the efficiencies of electronic curriculum implementation in the College of Education of the University of Hail Staff Members.

The study followed a descriptive and analytical approach based on field study.

The study population consisted of the Faculty of Education staff members (Males branch) who were at work in the second semester of the academic year (1436 ــ 1437 h).

To achieve this purpose, a questionnaire composing (32) items were prepared and implemented the after measuring it's validity and reliability on a sample of (50) faculty staff members.

Data has been analyzed by a number of statistical treatments included averages and standard deviations of the responses of the target respondents.

The results of the study were many, but the most important ones were: the faculty staff members possesses high capacities related to computer and peripheral devices operation, equipped with the applied computer programs competencies essential to deal with electronic curriculum.

As well as the staff members were highly competent in the search of electronic data base and information related to their own field of specialty.

In addition to the emergence of a very high capabilities of staff members related to dealing with e-mail and knowledge requirements of the Internet connection.

However, there are weaknesses in the knowledge of faculty staff members associated with the concepts of e-learning and it’s patterns which preclude them from applying the models and methods in a practical way.

In light of the previous findings the researchers listed some of the recommendations and suggestions for future research related to the current study and being complementary to it.
