Abstract EN

This research deals with the domestic political developments in Laos during 1945-1949, during which significant political transformations took place during this period, which had a profound impact on the achievement of self-government in 1949 and partly eliminated it from the domination of French colonialism.

After the two parties signed an agreement guaranteeing the autonomy of Laos within the system of the French Union, which took place in July 1949, thus ending the role of the Lao opposition except the elements led by Prince Souphanou Vong , who preferred to fight the French and strategic cooperation with the Veto forces until the full independence of Laos.
