The subject of the article was on one of the official publications in the colonial period which give information of Algerian Assembly which was elected on April 1948 for choosing the representatives in the Assembly.

The Algerian and European parties participate for represente their voters in elections and the Assembly lasted from1948 to 1956.

We describe the function of Assembly by an official printed which include how are formed the committees and designation the members of the office.

The official publication is the journal official of Algeria particular the deliberations of the Algerian Assembly from 1948 to 1956 and it exit in many centres : archive service in oran wilaya and archive centre in Aix En Provence- France, the number of volumes are nine.

And their pages from 1962 ps in 1953 to 386 ps in 1956.
