Islamic microfinance is a vital tool in the alleviation of poverty and is increasingly viewed as an alternative to conventional microfinance.

Scaling up Islamic microfinance initiatives, especially in Muslim countries can play a pivotal role in the eradication of poverty and has the full potential of raising the standard of living for the masses.
