There are in Saudi Arabia (49) oil field and (28) gas field and, in Iraq there are (73) oil field with no development only (15) field is Iraqi oil is the cheapest globally in terms of the cost required for its development, production and proximity to markets Asthlakyin namely Europe through ports Mediterranean and Asia through ports of the Arabian Gulf, and the estimated proven reserves of crude oil in Iraq about (4.141) billion barrels, Saudi Arabia, estimated proven reserves of crude oil around (4.265) billion barrels in 2013.
