English Abstract

By the title of research "the legend in Mesopotamia " behooves us was the definition of two subjects, the first theme is the (legend) and the second is (Mesopotamia) The first represents the topic or the event, and the second represent the place where the legend was happened therefore urged the tab search in the following form : The research includes a prelude touched it to the meaning of legend, and the concept of myth, followed by two topics, first topic included two axes The second topic was talking to mythology Mesopotamian and we chose the models of these myths was titled look at the myths of Mesopotamia and of course we chose a model or two models of these myths for talking about because there is no enough capacity to address the all Mesopotamian mythology .

Also, the search included a finale where we reviewed our conclusions to search with an index of margins and sources that have been used in it.
