This article aims to know the academic attention to the process of local development in Algeria, using the method of design thinking that has become an approach for the management of creativity in this age, being a new management style was adapted to globalization, technical and social revolutions, a thinking which works on research in the fields that could be educable, developable and applicable, We have dealt with some of the theses in the social sciences, which focused on local development and how this method can find solutions to the pending problems of the development.
