Abstract EN

This Study sought to determine the role of managerial empowerment on organizational excellence within Sonatrach Oil Company.

The study has determined an independent variable (managerial empowerment) and a dependent variable (organizational excellence) with its five dimensions (leadership excellence, employee excellence, organizational structure excellence, strategic excellence, organizational culture excellence).

To achieve the study objectives, a questionnaire was administrated and distributed to a sample consisting of (340) subjects.

Then, the Statistical Package for the Social Sciences (SPSS) program has been used to analyse the questionnaire data employing descriptive statistical techniques such as mean, standard deviation and regression model, and other statistical methods.

The study found that there was a role of managerial empowerment within Sonatrach Oil Company with 56.3% on the organizational excellence.

The study recommends more attention to employee empowerment, especially in the lower administrative levels by getting employees to take responsibilities and look at their mistakes as means of learning in order to enhance organizational excellence in the surveyed company.
