The research aims to adopt strategies metacognitive in the development of critical thinking among students of the Department of kindergartens The first stage, which was implemented strategies to students kindergarten department in the College of Education for Girls, in psychology year for the first stage within the lectures on a sample of (50) students into two groups, and by (25) experimental and (25) was control.
the researcher experimental method is experimental and control groups were adopted in its search after rewarding the two groups in the variables are (chronological age, academic achievement for both mother and father, the IQ test, the level of critical thinking) Before applying strategies of metacognitive, has hired a researcher tests of (Watson - Klazer), Translator by Issa (2013), which included 40 items, after being introduced by a group of specialists, and to analyze statistical data the researcher used the following statistical methods (Altaia test samples independent, Chi square, difficulty paragraph coefficient, discrimination coefficient, equation Alpha Cronbach, Pearson) correlation coefficient, and the results indicated the presence of significant differences in favor of the experimental group, reaching the calculated value of the test posttest (4239), the largest of the tabular value of the (2 ), and this shows the effectiveness of strategies of metacognitive in the development of critical thinking among students in the experimental group.
