English Abstract
This study consist of five chapters, introduction focus in phosphate industry and washing water, and description about sub-watershed characteristics, data about watershed hydrology, runoff calculations through using three methods isohyteal, Thiesson, and rational method, water harvesting techniques, then adding conclusion and recommendations of the issues of phosphate industry at Al-Hasa area. Choosing at the région of Hasa mines to establish water harvesting system, to benefit from water resulted from washing phosphate the quantity of water effluented, about 2.1MCM yearly from ground water .collecting water in the excavations of phosphate, and developing local communities through building agi'icultural projects.
Cultivating Cio ver one of them. This study analyzing the watershed of the study area, and présent the hydrological data, climatic condition to use runoff and this the first time to concentrate on the area that close to the mining as a part of réhabilitations to mining activities, surface water to build water harvesting system depending on rain data and washing phosphate water. There are many methods to establish water harvesting techniques, but for this sub-watershed according to the élévation, cost and technique also what community can work, this study suggest Negarim micro catchments.
