English Abstract

New formation of three-layer sandwich panels with reinforcing elements of expanded metal are proposed.

A new experimental- theoretical approach to the definition of the reduced thickness of the longeron made of expanded metal is also provided in this paper.

The simulation of the stress-strain state of panels was done by finite element method.

Also, the analysis of the potential strain energy and its comparison for different types of sandwich panels, and their technical and economic indicators have been presented.
