Zakah on shares, stock, options and bonds : does investment in company's shares attract annual Zakah ?

Assalamu Alaykum Wa Rahmatullahi Wa Barakatuh, I have two questions. First I want to know whether investment in companys’ shares attracts annual Zakkat. Two we are compel by law in Nigeria that every worker has to contribute to his retirement benefit on monthly basis and this amount is invested in the banks on interest. Before we retire it will takes us almost 20 years to come. How can we purified this money after retirement ? Jazakum Allahu Khairan for your constant help
