The poetry of the Algerian martyr remained a historical witness for the Algerian history, and a strong cry against the French colonization because the poet martyr refused humiliation and all the French projects.

He chose to defend the honor and dignity of the motherland.

For example، Abdelkarim El-Aggoun used a poetry discourse characterized by eloquence and a wonderful style.

His poetry was considered as a weapon to fight against colonialism which made him a target to the French colonizers.

This French attitude did not disable him to continue his noble mission.

He sacrificed his soul to defend his mother land after he has spent months in prison cell.

The article sheds light on the poetic discourse of the martyr poet as a sample of the other Algerian martyr poets، such as Boushama Elrabi.
