Abstract EN

First we deal with several of the main features of the global solar cycle : sunspots and their butterfly diagram, polar faculae and their butterfly diagram, large-scale unipolar magnetic field regions and filament bands, torsional oscillations and differential rotation.

Next we consider some effects of the solar phenomena on Earth.

In particular we argument that a deep minimum like the Maunder Minimum may happen within one or two cycles from now.
