The study aims to highlight the signi^cant role played by the Tunisian educational institutions in the formation of the Algerian elite during the French colonial period, The study focuses on Zitouna Mosque Foundation and its role in the formation of the Algerian elite that led the Algerian National Movement and then the path of armed struggle which culminated in independence and retrieval of the Algerian national sovereignty,The radicalization of the signal that the Zitouna Mosquewas open to the Algerians from different regions and their political affiliations and any that he was aware of a beacon for all Algerians.
