Abstract EN

Bismuth-antimony based superconductors with the formula Bi2-x SbxSr2Ca2Cu3O10+δ (x=0, 0.2 and 0.4) have been prepared by use three step solid state reaction processes, the four probe techniques was used to find electrical resistivity and the transition temperature Tc, and have showed the samples Bi2-xSr2Ca2Cu3O10.21, Bi1.8Sb0.2Sr2Ca2Cu3O10.28 and Bi1.6Sb0.2Sr2Ca2Cu3O10.23 are superconducting state with critical transition temperatures Tc is 112, 114, and 113 K, respectively.

X-ray diffraction XRD analysis shows that all samples are polycrystalline with orthorhombic structure.

It was found that the increasing of the Sb concentrations for all samples produce changes on the lattice constant, volume fraction Vphase , c/a parameter and oxygen content δ.
