Abstract EN

The study aimed at identifying the factors of job satisfaction of the Public secondary school teacher in Ajloun Governorate from their perspective and explaining whether such factors are different according to sex, academic level and experience years.

The sample was randomly chosen and it consisted of (245) male and female teachers in a percentage of 20% of the whole population.

A questionnaire was developed consisting of (61) items delivered in to four domains: economic, social rank, work environment and rehabilitation and training factors.

The Finding showed that the means were (2.52- 4.05) The First rank was taken by work environment factor in a mean of (4.o5), whereas the economic factor came in the last rank having a mean of (2.52).The job satisfaction level for The teachers, in general, was medium, In addition, there were no statistically significant differences in the job satisfaction level of the teachers due to sex in all domains except for rehabilitation and training domain in favor of females.

There were statistically significant differences in the job satisfaction level for teachers due the academic level in all domains and in the total degree.

Moreover, there were statistically significant in the job satisfaction level of the teachers is attributed to the academic level in favor of more than (10) years in the domains of the school rank of the teacher and job environment and in the total degree .
