Abstract EN

This study aims to shed light on the secret of Al-Maliki doctrine spread in the Maghreb and Al-Andalus in past and present.

This is a unique and distinctive phenomenon specific to this region than other regions of the Islamic world.

This paper tries to address how al-Maliki doctrine entered the region, and how their people attached to it and recall the views of historians and scientists in this, and what is the secret about enabling the Maliki doctrine in this area in addition to the quick spread of this doctrine and the preference of it than other Islamic jurisprudence such as Shafii, Hanafi and Hanbali.

Besides the rise of evacuated scientists from the region in the Maliki doctrine such as Ibn Abi Zaid Al-Kairouani nicknamed “Little Malik” Sahnoun, Ibn Abd al-Barr and other Imams from different Islamic doctrines jurisprudence.

Moreover, addressing the role played by the sultans and the kings of Maghreb in empowering the Maliki doctrine in their country through history to this day.

Knowing that, the Middle East and other countries of Muslim world knew other doctrines such as Shafii, Hanafi and Hanbal doctrine over the Maliki doctrine.
