Abstract EN
This paper go deeply in transmission lines operational reliability, that is can be done by right dealing with correct data collection, and how to simulate the faults to perform a good modules which helps in transmission lines reliability evaluation.
Our practical system will be the Libyan network, its features of wide spread areas and long transmission lines that founded in very different weather conditions like mountains, coastal areas, and desert.
after that we explain some different case studies that concludes the various states of operation conditions of transmission grid.
then the full calculation of Annual Average customer Interruption Rate (AACIR) indices for whole 220 kV transmission network was achieved all 220 kV substation loads for three years 2008, 2009, and 2010 as two load points for each substation.
