Abstract EN

This study aims at knowing the qualitative and ageing structure of the population in Bahrain kingdom according to census, 2010.

In addition, it shows : (a) the disparity with reference to the level of governorates and nationality, (b) the ratio of the type according to age-groups and (c) the study of the age –structure for the population in the kingdom which is regarded as a demographic indicator to refer to the productive power of population.

it is un doubtful that the study of the age – structure for the population of any society indicates a number of indicators such as the percentage of dependency and the measurement of old and medium age.
