This paper investigates Islamophobia and its implications in the media areas, especially after the September lllh attacks.

Although Islamophobia could be read as a modem conceptualization of opposition to Islam and is accepted as a modem and secular discourse following the September 11* attacks, it actually is a phenomenon that has its roots back in the Middle Ages of Europe.

Anti-Islamic publications and propaganda that escalated after September 11* began to regard Muslims as a threat to the West and practiced discrimination against them.

Western media by describing Muslims as “others ” reclaim Muslims within a violence swirl resulting from religion of Islam that they believe in.

Islamophobia is not only seen in the Western world.

There arc local Islamophobic facts in the islamic world.

Non-traditionalization and non-Islamization policies were enforced by the secular elites on the Muslim world after colonization.
