The Iraqi researcher Muhammad Abd Al-Mahdi Salman Al-Huluw explores terminology in the thought of the Islamic Egyptian researcher Muhammad ‘Amara.

There is a large set of opposite terms which ‘Amara’s writings teem with, and there is no doubt that these adjacent dualities are an expression of a solid intellectual structure in his creative achievement and are clarified in his usage of the following terms: internal-external/ advancement-backwardness/ independence- subordination/ universality-globalization/ enlightenment-falsification/ revelation-universe/ religion-state/ traditional-new/ repulsion-conflict.

This research essay entitled “The Dialectics of Conflict and Repulsion between the Islamic East and the Secularist West” is an attempt to establish the problem through the dialectic writings of‘Amara in this regard.
