Abstract EN

The development of the insurance sector in Algeria and the occupation of an important rank in the Algerian economy, pushed the state to impose on it control, the latest and according to the insurance law is embodied in the oversight and supervision bodies which are the subject of study.

In the study of this subject we dealt with the definition of significant oversight and supervision bodies in Algeria represented in the Minister of Finance, so we did define it, showing its functions and its oversight role, also we dealt with the Supervisory Committee and the Insurance Supervision, explaining its composition and its objectives and procedural methods to work with reference to the National Council of Insurance and organization and a statement explaining his work and his authority as an advisory oversight body.

In the latter, we pointed out the importance of the proper functioning of the oversight and supervision bodies and the importance of the contribution to the development of the insurance sector by pursuing modern seizure methods in line with the global development which contribute to the advancement of the national economy.
