This article must have esthetics appearance in the function of space city in the modern Algerian novel, exactally, in the novel of “iskram’s confession” of “Azzeddine mihoubi” by studying the relationship related with all elements of text structure and narrative structure with kinds that consisted the space of city and which contains geographic dimensions’, significant aims besides to the writing’s kinds.

So ?, our conclusion is abstracting the space of city through its three artistic aspects inorder to occur in general its aims of function in the new novel and particularly the novel of “iskram’s confission”.
