In Algeria , as in the Arab region and the world, there is a large diffusion of practices that restrict competition beyond national control.

certainly this phenomenon bothering institutions and the consumer , as they restrict the entry of goods and services in the markets , they also infringe the freedom of pricing , product quality and innovation.

In this context this study to address three aspects of protection " non - judicial " international and regional is focused respectively on : the World Trade Organization, the United Nations ( through UNCTAD ) and United Arab pilot competition rules.

The elements mentioned can help the Algeria to fulfill its international obligations, such as those generated by the Partnership Agreement with the European Union (2005 ) , or the Arab Convention for the Free Trade Agreement ( 2002) and as litigation and expected after the imminent accession to the World trade Organization consequences.

the same projection could be held for the benefit of all the emerging countries.
