Abstract EN

This research studies Qatar's foreign policy and its attempts to move towards globalization, which began in the 1960s.

These initial attempts were not mentioned and documented in the references to the period of Sheikh Ahmed bin Ali's rule from 1960 to 1972.

Therefore, what distinguishes this research is the documentation of these attempts by reading important historical pieces, namely the stamps that are preserved and displayed in the Stamp Museum "Center of Stamp Collectors" in Qatar and identify the most important signs of these pieces and symbols .

In this research, I made a comparison to Qatar's policy towards globalization during the era of Sheikh Ahmed bin Ali and the reign of Sheikh Hamad bin Khalifa 1995-2013, due to the close period of the rule, where the period of Sheikh Ahmed nearly 12 years while the period of Sheikh Hamad nearly 18 years and the economic boom witnessed by the two times as a result of the flow of oil money, to identify the most important tools and methods used in each era, Globalization is in line with the standards of each time in terms of tools and means.

It is clear that both Covenants have focused on emerging from the local and regional framework to the global framework, but the surrounding circumstances and the tools available for each period have played their primary and pivotal role in determining the way of performance and application.
