Abstract EN

The discourse of masks is a new technique in modern Arabic poetry, the Iraqi poet Abde Wahab Al-bayati, was the first to develop this technique in the early sixties, after many attempts to break the lyrical path that Flooded the old poses and the most recently practiced, to take on another personality neutral heritage - often Sufi- to express, so that the speech becomes more representative of the dramatic background trend.

This study falls within the context of dealing with the mask as a sign of a large positive focal signific in the development of the poetic text, where the mask discourse would be complete only if it is of three parts; Personality, intention and poet.
