Abstract EN

Sunnah is the second source of Islamic Sharee‘ah (legislation) and it explains and provide details for the laws and teachings found in the Quran.

Quran and Sunnah both exist as integral parts complementing each other, Sunnah is based on Quran, drawing its authenticity from it.

However, a contradiction may seem to appear between what is mentioned in the hadith and what is mentioned in a Qur’anic text but it turns out that this contradiction is not real (superficial) for sharee‘ah cannot contradict itself.

Therefore, this study attempts to investigate the realty of this contradiction and how to remove it.
