أنظمة إدارة الأرشفة الإلكترونية و أثرها على جودة الخدمات : دراسة ميدانية على القطاع الحكومي الأردني

Abstract EN

The study aims at investigating the electronic document management systems (EDMS) and their impact on the quality of e-services in the Jordanian public sector.

The study sample consisted (150) of the Archive Department staff in the General Security Directorate / Drivers and Vehicle Licensing Department, Ministry of Interior of the Jordanian government.

In order to fulfill the study objectives a questionnaire was designed and distributed after checking its validity and credibility.

Study results found a statically significant impact at the level of (α≤0.05) for the electronic document management systems and their contents on the quality of e-services provided to the government sector employees.

The study recommended to consider providing the necessary infrastructure for the establishment of EDMS, and replacing the paper-based archivesin phases to preserve documents from damage and loss, and to develop the EDMS on an ongoing basis, and to develop policy on retention and disposal of documents as a guide for users of these systems, and to increase awareness of the importance electronic documents and their role in saving time, effort and money.
