Abstract EN

This study discusses the main characteristics of the specialized journals in science and technology which are issued by KAUand the current statusin terms of digital transformation.

The main objectives of the studywere to identify the KAU journals in science and technology in terms of theirgrowth, development and the number of pages from the beginning of the Journals to date, as well as to identify the objectives of their distribution, quality ofKAUjournalspublished in the university, as well as assess the current digitization effort ofthese journals.

The researcher used descriptive approach, and abibliometric method in the analysisof KAUjournals.

The researcher analyzed the content ofKAUjournals since initiation, growth, development of quantitative and qualitative indicators using a statistical analysis software for data analysis.

The study presentedsome results and made recommendations that will contribute to improved KAUjournals.

Mainly recommending to create a database to link all these information products.

It recommended to take advantage of modern technology to create coordination between universities in scientific publishing which will facilitate communication between researchers.(143)
