Abstract EN

The current study aimed to find out the reading comprehension level of the slow learner pupils in the fourth year in of primary school, and to reveal the differences in the reading comprehension level refer to( the sex and to the number of repeating the year), the study sample consisted of (50) pupils, the Weschsler Intelligence Scale for Children and Drawing a man test of goodenought were applied to select the sample ; then a comprehension reading test of our own preparation was applied, the statistical analysis has shown that the reading comprehension level of theslow learner pupils was low, and has shown also that there was no differences in the reading comprehension refer to the sex,While it provedthe existence of differencesrefer to thenumber of repeating the year (one year, two years, three years and more), the debate of the study results was done according to the previous studies
