Abstract EN
Assisting in sin and transgression is prohibited in Sharia, including everything which leads to sins.
This study aimed to explore the nature of forbidden assistance from the point of view of Sharia, taking into consideration evidence from Quran, Sunnah, and the principles of Sharia.
The research employed a general comparative inductive research method.
Numerous Sharia forbidden cases were reported, such as working in commercial banks, dealing with such banks and maintenance contracts for the brothels, nightclubs or bars.
Modern and old examples of the same nature were also reported, such as selling weapons in the time of sedition, selling grapes to alcohol manufactures as well as doing marketing and publicity for these places in audio, visual or printed media.
The study also provided additional preliminary remarks about Sharia means, its types and rules because of their relevance to the subject of this study.
The famous rule in Sharia which reads ”means take the same judge of the purposes of Sharia” was also elaborated
