Abstract EN

This research tackles the processes of selecting and appointing teachers in the Ministry of Education and Higher Education and the most important personal and professional standards that must be available in teachers to carry out their educational and scientific role.We have reached through this research that the Ministry of Education and Higher Education follows the general terms and conditions set forth in the Civil Service Law, Act No 4 of 1998 in addition to other requirements related to the ministry in appointing teachers, according to the specificity of the job.

The ministry choices are based on qualifications and validity to assign employees that would create the best of staffs.

However, we take into our consideration that these standards are not enough so that we recommended further ones.
