The present study aimed to identify one of the popular rural folklore templates, which was inherited in Palestine since ancient times until recently.

That is the singing of «Al-Samer», which, comes under the singing of the collective for men in terms of its origin and areas of spread, technical construction and its way of performance, as well as its elements of performance, and its poetical and musical characteristics.

In addition, to the description of «Al-Samer» circle, its components and its events, by explaining its performance and the stages of “alssahija” kind of clapping.

Moreover, the research present models of dialogue, confrontation, and the singing of «Al- Samer», because it considers as rural authentic singing.

It spread in central and southern Palestine, and the researcher focuses on group of key terms, such as “Albaddae”, “Alhadda”, “Alssahja”, and “Jawlat Al-samer”.

The author enclose samples of « Jawlat Al-Samer» which adopted the corresponding audio and visual aids, as well as the researcher includes the colloquial expressions and their meaning in the appendix.

Finally, the research reported the findings of the study and recommendations in the light of the findings.
