For nearly a decade, the Gaza Strip endures difficult economic, social, and humanitarian conditions due to the Israeli siege.

This severe siege has its political dimensions and motives with respect to the Palestinian issue, in general, and the Gaza Strip, in particular.

This work discusses the reality and motives of the Israeli siege since its beginning, as well as its political, economic, and social levels.

The siege continues to inflict catastrophic outcomes on the civilian population of Gaza Strip.

This work recommends taking action at all local, regional, and international levels, bearing in mind that internationally recognized conventions and laws are important pillars of delegitimizing the embargo, if properly invested.
