This study deals with the historical texts of the mushim historioa Izz al – Deen Ibn shadada al – halani a bout the Mongol invasion of the cities of al – Tazeera al – Furatia in the 1 A.H/ 13 A.D century.
The study divided into four topics, the Mongols in (657 A.h / 1259 A.D).
The seconf topic devoted to study the role of Kurdish Wmirs (Princes) in defending the city of Migadeakin against Mangol invasion.
The third topic dealt with the subject invasion.
The third topic dealt with the subject of Mongol Control of the city of Amid in (657 A/H / 1259 A.D).
The Fourth topic tackles Hulaku's siege of Mardin city in 657 – 659 A.H / 1259 – 1261 A.D.
