English Abstract

The estimation of probability diagram with regression analysis for an observed of annual rainfall is commonly required for the design of hydraulic project , water resources , water harvesting and engineering control structures.

Observed series of rainfall data was collected during 40 years, for the period between (1975-2015) at both Sartang agro-meteorology center and Duhok meteorology station which has (WMO code,606) .

Occurrence of regression of annual rainfall analysis data was used to development probability diagram with regression line for annual rainfall totals of Duhok governorate.

A straight line was fitted to the plotted observations data.

The probability diagram recommended to prediction of rainfall storms for given return period (T).
