By the 8th century Hijri, the city of Fez in Morocco becomes the center of the cultural and scientific movement in all the Maghreb.

Indeed the liberty and diversity were the most causes of her success.

Religious studies such as low, Quran studies and Hadith, were the most important fields of study and research, therefore many scholars from the city of Tlemcen in Algeria immigrate to Fez to participate in the development of Islamic civilization in the west of the Islamic world.
