أخلاقيات العمل الإسلامية و أثرها في تعزيز الالتزام التنظيمي في المؤسسات الصحفية الأردنية من وجهة نظر العاملين فيها

Abstract EN

This study aims at evaluating the impact of Islamic work ethics (efficiency and proficiency, kindness and tolerance, advice and creativity, sense of responsibility, justice, fairness, honesty, teamwork, obedience to the ruler, and maintain the dignity of the job) in organizational commitment at press institutions in Jordan.

A questionnaire is developed to collect data.

A total of 204 members of press organizations working in Jordan responded.

The study finds out the following: - The respondents’ perceptions of the level of Islamic work ethics and its subdimentions are high.

- The respondents’ perceptions of the level of organizational commitment and its subdimentions are moderate.

- There is a statistically significant impact at the level of significance (0.05) for each of the following variables (advice and creativity, sense of responsibility, fairness, teamwork, obedience to the ruler, and maintaining the dignity of the job) on organizational commitment among the respondents.

- There is no statistically significant impact at the level of significance (0.05) for each of the (efficiency and proficiency, kindness and tolerance, and the honesty) on organizational commitment.

Based upon the aforementioned results, recommendations are proposed to enhance the role of Jordan press organizations in Islamic work ethics in order to improve the level of organizational commitment.
