Treatment of the "Acquired Deficiency" in the Sunnah : an analytical dogmatic hadith study in the Sunnah about the hadith "The Strong Believer"

Abstract EN

The research deals with the study of the "Acquired Deficiency": its concept, its occurrence, its effects and its treatment in The Sunnah.

This is done through the analytical dogmatic study of the Hadith"Strong believer".

The researcher refers to books regarding the explanations of Hadith and connects them to what is said by psychologists about the phenomenon of "acquired deficiency".

It is a psychological state that leads a person to frustration/disappointment because of repeated failure in his/her life.

Its psychological effects are anxiety and depression.

It also affects the individual's inward behavior and his/her behavior towards society by coming pessimistic and nonchalant.

The research concluded that the Sunnah of the Prophet offers a spiritual treatment for this situation with concentration the belief in God on the individual develops strength and optimism that encourages an increase in efforts, self appreciation, asking God for help, avoidance of blaming the self for what has been done, and belief in destiny.

The treatment of the Prophet which deals with this psychological state is unique in compared with western methods because the latter overlooks the belief in God/spiritual aspects in psychotherapy.

The researcher recommends the necessity of connection between psychology and what is mentioned in the Holy Quran and Sunnah
