Abstract EN

This paper deals with the importance of the quality of relgious translation ,mainly , the translation of sacred texts .

As a matter of fact, we try to highlight the necessity of particular translation skills to those are beginners in transalting this type of texts.

Also, we focus on the importance of translator’s competence and performance to achieve a clear and acceptable results ( target texts ).

Therefore, we work on the different translations of Sourat El Fatiha and some parts of Elhadith Elnabawi realized by lot of translators from diffrent religions.

So, to what extent can the transltor be faithful in rendering the meaning of sacred texts from Arabic language into English language ? And what are the conditions and standards of religious translations quality that should be taken into account among the experts in the field ?
