Abstract EN

For many years, the agriculture considered as a main guarantee for human life’s persistence, since it represents the cornerstone for securing foods variety to satisfy humans need and wants.

The research problem stem from determining the key risks resulted from the shortage of both wheat production and marketing, in view of the fact that the wheat considers as crucial material in food security.

Moreover, the major objective of this research is to clarify the sore truth of the agriculture sector in Iraq in general, and for wheat planting in particular, through digital indicators points out the declining level of wheat production.

Finally, the researcher hopes to present a number of recommendations to be as a objectivity steps to achieve food security in Iraq and capable at the same time to be applicable in the Arab nations.
