This study aims to define and clarify the nature of competitive advantage, in addition to showing its role and importance of intellectual capital to achieve a competitive advantage for business organizations, it has become seen as the intellectual capital as a true representative of the organizations' ability to compete and achieve success and survive in the business market, and this especially after the global economy shifted to a building and a knowledge-based economy.

The intellectual capital is a new asset most valuable is the latest production, which is recognized as a key resource to create wealth factors even more important than the other traditional factors of production such as work, capital, raw materials, intellectual capital plays an important role in supporting the sustainable competitive advantage of business organizations, and to achieve efficiency and effectiveness regulatory and success of organizations.
