The objective behind this study is to is to examine the differences between males and females in perceiving the physical self and the dimensions of the psychological trends on practicing the physical activity and sport.

The study also aims to know the relationship between them ( the physical self and the psychological trends ) in which the measurement of the physical self -concept perception has been used.

It was done in England by Fox 1990.It consists of 25 items which measures 6 dimensions here they are: general self-cocept,the perceived physical self value, the self-concept perception to the physical competence, the self-concept to the physical appearance, the physical self-concept to strength.The measurement of the psychological trends to practicing the physical activity and sport has been used.It was reported by Gerald Kenyon and translated to the Arabic by Mohamed Hassan Aalawi.It consists of 54 Items which measures 6 dimensions here they are: the physical activity as social experience, as health and physical fitness experience, as tension and risk experience, as beauty experience, as tension reduction experience and as sport excellence experience.

The research has been applied on 240 secondary school students (120 males and120 females).

The hypotheses of the study were to be as follows: -No statistically significant differences between males andfemales informing the psychological trends to practicing the physical activity and sport among secondary school students.

-There are statistically significant differences between males and females in perceiving the physical self among secondary school students.

-there is correlation between the physical self-concept perception and dimensions of the psychological trends on practicing the physical activity and sport among secondary school students.

The results of the study have shown that the first hypothesis reported that there aren’t statistically significant differences between males and females in most effects of psychological trends to practicing the physical activity and sport such as the influence of the social experience, the tension and risk, the beauty experience and the influence of tension reduction.

The differences between males and females are found in the health and the physical fitness dimension .

The results of the study have shown that the second hypothesis recommended that there are statistically significant differences between males and females in the physical self-concept perception .Finally the results of the third hypothesis have shown that there is a positive relationship between the physical self-concept perception and the psychological trends dimensions on practicing the physical activity and sport at the level 0.01.
