Abstract EN

This study aims at investigating reference to birds in the writings of a number of the fifth hijri century poets in ANDALUSIA, focus is on birds types and the way they are viewed by poets.

The PRAGMATIC approach was used being considered one of the most effective tools underlying modern linguistic research when it comes to approaching diverse literary texts.

More specifically , the study targets ‘INFORMATIVES’ put forth by ‘SEARLE’ in his speech acts theary.

This study includes at first a survey of birds reference in AL QURAN and the human cultural heritage , then an analysis of the informatives found by presenting models and analysing them.
