Al-Abbas bin Al-Ahnaf (d.

193 A.

H) is considered one of the Oudhiry lovers who had passed the experience of desertion and disaffection and suffered its sadness and pains.

His poetry carried his regrets and sorrow where he had explained, within his poetry, that this disaffection had not surprised him, he had a previous feeling resulted from rejecting his gifts, neglecting his messages and letters and the over blaming.

Hence the poet attempted to reflect the justifications of her desertion and disaffection such as (revealing her love, flirtation, time, envois and boredom).

As a result of his sorrow and sadness, in his turn, he had decided to desert her though this would be so hard and difficult for him, revealing the justifications of his desertion and disaffection such as (reciprocation, tedium, satisfy her and feeling malice).
