Abstract EN
Water is a natural resource vital to human survival.
However, its availability is a problem.So, it has become essential to adopt new approaches to ensure sustainable management of the water, especially in urban areas.
And considering the environmental, social and economic characteristics of Algeria, Algeria chose to use the partnership with the private sector to achieve sustainable management of water services in its largest cities.

L’eau est une ressource naturelle indispensable à la survie de l’homme.
Cependant, sa disponibilité pose un problème.
C’est pourquoi, il est devenu primordial d'adopter de nouvelles approches visant à assurer une gestion durable de l'eau en particulier celle en milieu urbain.
De plus, vu ses caractéristiques environnementales, sociales et économiques, l’Algérie a choisi de recourir au partenariat avec le secteur privé afin de parvenir à une gestion durable des services d’eau potable dans ses plus grandes villes.
