of this research is to indicate the role of banking credit in The aim support of various economic sectors in the Iraqi economy for the period (2008-2012), through the analysis of available data on the size of the credit facilities provided to these sectors.
The research found that these facilities were very low and did not play an important role in increasing the proportion of the contribution of these sectors in GDP, especially agriculture and industry, and if these sectors has adequate support it will rise the percentage of their contribution in achieving real and sustainable economic growth rate
