الشباب و المشاركة السياسية في الأردن : دراسة ميدانية على عينة من الشباب في مدينة عمان

Abstract EN

The main goal of this study is to research and analyze Jordanian youths who have established income– generating micro projects in Amman city.

The sample consisted of (300) youths from Amman city - all owners of micro projects: (67%) of them in the age category (26-30) years, and (26%) of them in the age category (21-25) years.

Sample survey methodology was used, and data were collected by means of a structured questionnaire prepared by the researchers.

Findings reveal that female respondents participated in this election by voting more than male, but differences in percentages are small, and not significant (34.2%) of female respondents mentioned that they voted in this election, but only (31.8%) of males mentioned that.

The majority of both male and female respondents mentioned that they voted for a male relative, or clan member.

In addition, percentage of females who mentioned that they voted for a lady candidate is a little larger than that of males
