Abstract EN

Building citizenship is not a mere transmission of knowledge revolving around the motherland, but it is a construction of values and principles promoting the individual’s sense of connection and belonging to their historical heritage.

In this context, school life is considered to be the most appropriate space for training students to enjoy their rights and perform their duties with full awareness and responsibility.

This research tries to detect the extent to which the Tunisian educational orientations go with the requirements of citizenship values through developing the civic sense among generations.
